CHRIS KING
HEAD OF CREDIT
Chris King joined Pivot as Head of Credit in November 2024, bringing over two decades of leadership and expertise in credit risk management across diverse sectors, including Real Estate, Leverage Finance, and Large Corporates. In his new role, Chris is responsible for overseeing and shaping the credit strategy, ensuring that risk management practices align with Pivot's long-term goals.
With extensive experience managing large teams, Chris has successfully led credit functions at numerous financial institutions, focusing on customer-centric approaches, regulatory compliance, and the improvement of credit processes. Chris’s experience spans the full customer journey, from origination and execution to monitoring, restructuring, and recoveries to ensuring a comprehensive approach to credit management.
Outside of work, Chris is an avid triathlete, having competed in numerous swim, cycle, and run events, including a half Ironman. He is also has served as the elected treasurer of the Colchester Deaf Children’s Society, where he played an active role in the charity's management.
Whilst Chris will admit to not being a big football fan, he is an FA qualified coach and spends most weekends helping to coach his sons and daughters teams.
