Valan Redmond joined Pivot in June 2024, bringing extensive experience in relationship management and portfolio oversight. Her career has been marked by significant achievements and a deep understanding of the financial services landscape.
Previously, Valan served as a Senior Relationship & Portfolio Manager at West One (WO), where she managed the entire lifecycle of loans from origination to redemption.. Her ability to manage complex portfolios and deliver results has been a key asset in her professional journey.
Before her role at WO, Valan gained valuable experience as a Portfolio Manager at Shawbrook. Her diverse background also includes broking at Funding Options and working in FinTech at Lendi in Australia. This broad spectrum of roles has equipped her with a unique perspective on the financial services industry, making her adept at navigating different market environments and client needs.
At Pivot, Valan leverages her rich experience to support the Commercial Director and the broader Origination team. Her expertise in managing loan portfolios and fostering strong client relationships ensures that Pivot continues to deliver exceptional service and innovative financial solutions.
Valan holds a degree in Finance, which underpins her strong analytical skills and strategic approach to portfolio management. Outside of her professional life, Valan enjoys staying active through running and cycling. She is also an avid reader of financial literature and enjoys exploring new financial technologies.
